Earlier this year me and my girlfriend Kristin embarked on the journey of buying a house together and turning it into a home. The house we bought is a older house with tons of character but as you know character most often comes with work and tons of maintenance. I have always considered myself a very handy person in all trades be it electrical, plumbing and carpentry, thanks to my amazing Grandpa Dominik. But so far some of the projects have even took my knowledge to the limits which made we try and look online for the solutions or just winging it and figuring it out as I go. So with that being said it inspired me to create this blog of the experiences of the repairs and projects that I solve as we go though life

I am dedicating this blog to my grandfather Frank Dominik, in all he does for his family and all he has taught me. If you need know how or the tool to do it, he always has it and will do whatever he can to help. My hope is with this blog I can share what he has taught and is still teaching me to
others.
